Josep Maria Bartomeu’s arrest:

On Monday, Josep Maria Bartomeu, who was until last October the president of FC Barcelona, was arrested by the Catalan police in the middle of an investigation known as “Barçagate”, which seeks to clarify possible irregularities that the club could have committed by undertaking, with the help of a company, alleged smear campaigns on social media towards players of the club. Although the former president was released on Tuesday, he had to spend a night in jail and was charged with disloyal administration and business corruption.

LeBron James prepares to join the Tunes Squad:

LeBron James delights us every week in his games with the Los Angeles Lakers alongside teammates Anthony Davis, Marc Gasol, Kyle Kuzma, etc. But starting July 16, the superstar will also share a team with Buggs Bunny and his friends. Caris LeVert’s resilience:

On January 25, NBA player Caris LeVert underwent surgery to remove a tumor found in one of his kidneys, which he discovered he had while undergoing medical exams with his new team, the Indiana Pacers.  This Friday it was learned that, against all odds, he could return to play in a very short time, this season. The player himself acknowledged that the medical exams could have saved his life because they detected a potentially lethal renal cell carcinoma in time.

Mick Schumacher, following in his father’s footsteps:

The young driver, son of legendary Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher, will make his debut in the top category of motorsport this year. On Thursday, as his Haas team unveiled the new car for 2021, he said he was “proud to carry this family name in F1.”

The embarrassing “show ” of Benoit Paire:

Tennis player Benoit Paire lost in the round of 16 of the Argentina Open against the local Francisco Cerúndolo. During the match he spat on the court and let the match slip away by committing two double faults on purpose.
